OUR PLAN TO REGATHER AT GRACE CHURCH
Over the last several weeks, we have monitored guidelines and best practices for gathering in a safe way. After a significant amount of prayer and preparation, we will resume modified services beginning June 21. We’re committed to creating an environment that meets government and state recommendations for safety. To make that possible, our weekend services have been redesigned to create a sanitary, safe environment that allows for physical distancing. This includes a reduced capacity that will require registration for our services.
WHY WE ARE RETURNING
We know that the church never “closed”, however, we know there is great value in meeting together for in-person services. We will continue to do everything we can to connect people to God and one another whether online or in-person.
WAYS WE ARE STAYING SAFE
A few highlights:
- Registration before the service and check-in at the service
- 9:00AM - Masks recommended
- Chairs will be distanced for your safety
- Much of the experience will be modified (greeting time/offering/entry)
WHEN YOU CAN RETURN
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What about my kids?
gKids (birth-elementary) is currently open at limited capacity during the 10:30AM service only. Capacity is limited by registration for the main service. Pre-registration is required for attendance.
Is it safe to meet in person?
As we continue to monitor the ever-changing situation and guidelines, we believe we have practical, effective safety measures in place to resume in-person worship.
What if I’m not comfortable attending in-person?
We understand everyone is in a unique situation and we respect everyone’s choice to decide what is best for them and their family. During this season, we have learned the immense value that online experiences bring and those will continue. We believe that digital ministry is our next “mission field” and we’re excited to expand our mission of connecting people to God and one another!
What if I have been in contact with someone who tested positive or am exhibiting symptoms?
We ask all individuals to follow self-quarantine measures to reduce the risk of transmission. Follow all recommendations from your health-care professionals and enjoy our services online, in the mean time.
If you have any of the following symptoms, we would ask that you join us online:
- Fever Over 100
- Cough or Sore Throat
- Shortness of Breath
- Tested for COVID-19 and awaiting test results
- Contact with anyone confirmed to have COVID-19 (in the past 14 days)
How long will you have limited capacity?
We will follow guidelines given to us by our city and federal officials. Any changes in our safety protocols will be communicated appropriately. Our goal is to adhere to any limitations set while still offering an incredible service every weekend.
